What I Ate in Disneyland!

The last time we went to Disneyland I was eating pretty strict Paleo.  I didn’t really splurge on much other than the pineapple whip which was extremely disappointing.  This time I knew that I still wanted to keep things healthy but wasn’t going to freak out if I splurged on a few treats here and there.  Especially after seeing so many amazing posts on all the great food there was to eat.  Pregnancy excuse?  Maybe a little 😉

I still packed tons of healthy snacks and things to keep us from number one, not spending too much money, and number two, still eating some healthy foods.

Monday when we arrived, we went straight to Downtown Disney for lunch.

Pizza!  I had heard from several people that Naples Ristorante E Pizzeria was fantastic.  We ordered a large margherita pizza and some calamari to share.  The Love Nugget’s favorite!

I made sure to save room for a treat after from Marceline’s Confectionary that again, I had heard great things.

The Love Nugget picked out a very blue cake pop while The Hubby and I shared a cookie.

For dinner later that evening we went to Tortilla Joe’s and The hubby and I shared mixed fajitas.

The next morning we headed to Starbucks for breakfast before going into Disneyland.

I sipped on a coconut milk latte and had some of this oatmeal.

We grabbed a snack a few hours later at a pretzel cart.

The Love Nugget had a Mickey pretzel while The Hubby and I shared a cream cheese stuffed pretzel.  It was so good and I was wishing I wasn’t sharing with my hubby who eats WAY faster than I do :-(

I had tried to get reservations at Blue Bayou but it was booked.  So I knew we wanted to go to lunch at New Orleans cafe instead.  The Hubby LOVES Monte Cristcos and theirs was supposed to be amazing!

We decided to share some fries and a sandwich.  Confession, I didn’t love the sandwich so mostly ate the fries and fruit instead.  The Hubby thought it was great but it was just a little too fried for me…

We took an ice cream break before the parade but instead of ice cream I grabbed a cookie :-)  I swear I am a cookie monster lately!  #pregnancyproblems

Dinner was a quick one before heading back into the park for the light show and fireworks.  A cup of tomato soup and 1/2 a sandwich at La Brea Cafe.

The next day we started with breakfast at Storytellers Cafe.  A breakfast buffet there was plenty to choose from and of course I went straight for the yogurt, berries and granola.

I may have ditched the bread and gone back for more yogurt and granola.  And a piece of their famous creme brûlée french toast.  THAT was amazing :-)

We were pretty full from breakfast so lunch was far from my mind until much later.  The Hubby had been dying for a corn dog so I grabbed a smoothie and sipped on that while they ate their corn dogs.

I also had an un-pictured RxBar a little later.

Our dinner plans changed when The Love Nugget got sick :-(  We ended up ordering room service while the poor guy passed out.

I had some of a cobb salad and The Hubby had a bacon burger.  It was pretty good for room service :-)

That’s it for our Disneyland eats!  If you’ve been to Disneyland, what was our most favorite meal or place to eat?
